"Raven?"

"Yeah?" The dark haired man frowned, unravelling the bloodstained white wrist tape from his forearms.

"Why don't you ever laugh?" Stevie Richards whispered, staring idlely at the floor.

Raven looked up. "What do you mean?"

Stevie sighed. "You always look mad. I do stupid stuff and you don't laugh at it. Why don't you laugh?"

Raven sat back in his chair, pondering. "What exactly are you talking about?"

"Well," Stevie began, sitting on the wooden table in front of the other man. "Like, when I do the Fargo strut."

Raven raised an eyebrow. "You mean when you fuck up the Fargo strut."

Stevie sighed exasperatedly. "Okay, fine, I'll let you have that one. How about when I dance?"

"You mean those mild seizures you call dance moves?"

"That's not the point! How come those don't make you laugh?"

Raven took a sip of water. "It's dumb, not funny. Anything else?"

Stevie closed his eyes in thought. "Well...what about my stupid comments in interviews and promos?"

"Like...?"

Stevie cocked his head. "Like...the stuff with Missy, my over-hero worshipping, crying, going off on my own little trails...stuff like that."

Raven shrugged. "I don't know. It's not funny to me."

"Well..." Stevie thought hard. "What about impersonations?"

Raven kept his mouth set in a firm line. "I thought of all of those. They aren't exactly hilarious. At least not to me."

"But..." Stevie pulled lightly at his hair. "WHY?!"

Raven shook his head. "I don't know, Richards. Stop being a moron."

"What do you find funny then?"

Raven shrugged, packing items into his gym bag. "I don't know. Funny stuff."

Stevie growled lightly in his throat. "But what is funny to you?!"

Raven let a smirk cross his face. "Stuff that I find funny."

Stevie closed his eyes and screamed. "You're friggin' hopeless!"

At that, Raven chuckled.

Stevie looked up, wide-eyed. "You...you laughed..."

Raven shrugged. "You're cute when you're frustrated."

Stevie raised an eyebrow. "You laugh because I'm cute?"

Raven wiggled his eyebrows. "I think you're cute. I think you being cute without trying to is funny."

Stevie giggled, pulling himself off of the table. "You're weird."

"You're cute." Raven returned, pulling the taller man against him. "Now, come on. Make me laugh some more, joker boy."

Stevie sighed again, eyebrows knitting together. "Mean."

Raven laughed quietly. "You love it."

And with that, their lips met in a chaste kiss.

"I'm gonna make you laugh more often, no matter what you want." Stevie said.

Raven quirked a brow. "You can try."
