“You get the name I left in your bag?” Chase said to Andy as he zipped up his bag.
“Yeah.” Andy said. “Started me off with someone easy huh?”
“No easier than you started me with.” Chase said, chuckling to himself. “I better use two condoms for that one. Lord only knows who he’s been with.”
“Yeah, at least I only have to use one.” Andy said, throwing his bag over his shoulder. “You be careful with that one. I don’t want you to be on penicillin for the rest of your life.”
“Well if I am, then I only have you to blame.” Chase said, picking up his bag. “See you next week. I’m off to Nashville.”
Andy walked out of the room after Chase, following him to the parking garage. “At least you get to be at home. I’m off to Fort Wright, Kentucky.” Andy said, hitting the button on his car alarm. “See ya next week.”
ONE WEEK LATER
Andy walked into the hotel room that he shared with Chase and dropped his bag on floor. He flopped on the bed and let out a heavy breath. “Man, I know why they call him the Wildcat now.” Andy said, sitting up and wincing slightly.
“Have a good time?” Chase asked, smiling at his best friend.
“Well, I went to Kentucky, and I lied my ass off to Chris.” Andy said. “I told him that I had a show in Cincinnati the next night, and I was running low on cash. He let me crash at his place.”
There was a pause. “And?” Chase said, completely intrigued now.
“It was easy.” Andy said. “All I had to do was take a shower and walk out of the bathroom with just a towel around my waist. He was all over me.”
“Is that why you seem sore?” Chase said, trying to squash the feelings that were welling up in him.
“Yeah. Check this out.” Andy said, taking his shirt off, to reveal the claw marks that were littering his back.” And their a week old.”
“Damn!” Chase said, running his fingers along one of the more ugly ones. “I guess you do know why they call him the Wildcat.”
“No shit.” Andy said, wincing again at the touch to his back. “Now what about you and the Cowboy? Did you go riding or what?”
“What do you think?” Chase said, pulling his hair up, and revealing the largest hickey Andy had ever seen. “I tell you what. That Cowboy really does suck.” Chase added, chuckling. “And I don’t mean in a bad way either. All I had to do was go to his house and ask him if he wanted to hang out for a while.”
“That was all it took?” Andy said, stunned. “You didn’t have to lie to him or anything?”
“Hell no.” Chase said. “You know James reputation. He’ll screw anything with legs. Doesn’t say much for me, but it’s the truth.”
Andy looked at Chase, not believing what he’d just heard. “Hey, any guy would be lucky to have you. As far as I’m concerned, you did James Storm a favor.”
“Thanks man.” Chase said, putting his hand on Andy’s shoulder. “I’ll make sure the next name is in your bag tonight after the show. He’s a bit of a dog, but I think you’ll enjoy yourself.”
“Oh well thanks.” Andy said, not looking forward to finding out who his next target was. “I’ll make sure yours is there too. I think that this could be the one for you.”
ONE WEEK LATER
Chase pulled up to Andy’s house and honked the horn. Andy practically bounced out of his house and threw his bag in the trunk. “Wow! This has to have been the best week of my life.” Andy said, putting his seat belt on. “If he wanted a relationship, he’d have one.”
“What are you talking about man?” Chase said, putting the car in gear and heading for Florida.
“Jess wasn’t looking for a relationship. We still spent about three days together. He’s the most romantic guy I’ve ever met. He took me out on an actual date. You know where a guy picks you up, opens doors for you, pays for everything.” Andy said, sitting in the passenger seat daydreaming. “And before you ask, Chase, yes we slept together. That was pretty amazing too. I was actually worried when you said that he was a bit of a dog, but I had a great time with the Road Dogg. He was so gentle, and loving, and caring, and passionate, and....”
Andy’s words were cut off by Chase. “I get it. You don’t have to rub it in. You had to give me the biggest ego in TNA, didn’t you? I don’t see how Jess stayed so sweet, if he had to hang out with that every day.”
Andy snapped out of his daydream and looked at Chase. “You didn’t have a good time?”
“That’s the understatement of the year.” Chase said, looking disgusted. “It was all about him. It didn’t even bug him that I didn’t get off. He just rolled over and went to sleep. I went home and did it myself. Apparently I was something to write home about though. He called me the next day and asked me If I wanted to hook up again. I’d rather take bamboo shoots under my toenails.”
And sat over there for a while, feeling completely awful. “I’m sorry Chase. I didn’t mean to give you such a dud. I think I’m gonna make up for it.”
“Well you couldn’t do any worse than Kip James, or Monty Sopp, or Billy Gunn or whatever he’s going by this week.” Chase said, switching lanes.
“Well, trust me, I’m gonna make up for it.” Andy said, turning the radio station to some rap song. “That is, if you think you can get him?”
“Oh, that sounded like a flat out challenge.” Chase said, smiling for the first time since Andy had gotten into the car.
“It was.” Andy said, turning the radio up slightly.
The drove in silence listening to some rap station, Chase rapping along with just about every song. After a while Chase turned the radio down. “I think you’re gonna like who I’ve picked out for you too.” Chase said. “And trust me, Andy, it’s definitely a demon of a challenge.”
TWO WEEKS LATER
“Your time is up, my time is now
You can't see me, my time is now
It's the franchise, boy I'm shinin now
You can't see me, my time is now!”
Andy just laughed when he walked into the locker room, being careful to shut the door behind him. Chase was unpacking his gear for the night, and singing John Cena’s entrance music. “So I take it you had a good time?” Andy said, and just about scared the hell out of Chase.
Chase jumped at the sound of Andy’s voice and turned around in his ‘The Champ Is Here’ shirt. And just about hit the floor laughing when he realized that Chase had tucked the shirt in, and it looked like the arrow was pointing to his dick. “What? The Champ is here, baby!” Chase said, with the biggest smile Andy had ever seen.
Chase cocked an eyebrow at Andy when he finally took in Andy’s appearance as well. Andy was standing there in the Batista Unleashed hoodie sweatshirt, and a Batista hat. “So I guess the champ is there too, huh?” Chase asked, indicating Andy’s cloths.
Andy just gave Chase the Batista patented thumbs up gesture. Chase waited for the thumbs to go down but they never did. “I had the most fabulous time.” Andy said, sitting on the bench next to Chase. “But first tell me how in the hell you even found John Cena. I thought you’d never even get to him, not to mention actually getting him.”
“Well, I was talking to some of the guys.” Chase said. “Did you know that Samoa Joe used to hang out with John Cena? All I had to do was tell Joe that I thought John was hot and he handed over his number. I called him up one night and it turns out that he was having a concert that night. I went to the concert and he took me backstage and everything. After all the after parties were done with we went back to his place.”
Andy sat there for a while waiting for Chase to continue. “That’s it? That’s all the details I’m gonna get? Come on Chase, you’ve never been the one to kiss and not tell.” Andy said.
“Alright, alright.” Chase said, settling in as if he were about to tell one very long story. “When we got back to his house, he asked me if I wanted a drink. Of course, I declined. I wanted to be able to remember this night. We sat on his couch and talked for a while, then the phone rang. He got up and answered it in the other room. When he came back, he was laughing. I asked him if he had a good conversation. He said that was his good friend Joe Seannoa on the phone. I’m telling you my heart sank right there. Then, John said that Joe had told him that I thought he was hot. That reminds me, I have to kill Joe.” Chase said, nonchalantly. “Anyway, after that was said, I just sat there for a few minutes. That’s when John looked at me and said ‘So is it true?’ I told him yes and that’s when things really heated up. Let’s just say that he’s a very, very bad man. And I mean that in the best possible way. It was amazing.”
“Sounds like you had a pretty good time.” Andy said, starting to unpack his gear. “Did that make up for the Kip situation?”
“Oh hell yeah.” Chase said, smelling the shirt he was wearing, where a little of John Cena’s cologne still lingered. “So how was your trip?”
“My trip was great.” Andy said, taking his pants off and slipping into his wrestling trunks. Chase had to laugh when he looked at Andy again. That damned hoodie was so long on him, it looked like he didn’t have anything on. “What are you laughing at?”
“Nothing. It just looks like you don’t have anything on.” Chase said. “Why did you buy that thing so big anyway?”
“Well, I didn’t exactly buy it.” Andy said, looking quite dreamy. “But when Dave Batista hands you this shirt, as your walking out his door and he says, ‘Here baby, put this on. It’s cold outside.’ You don’t argue to much.”
Chase’s mouth flew open. “No shit! He gave you his shirt and called you baby? So are we gonna hear wedding bells anytime soon?”
“No. He did tell me to stop by next time I’m in town though. It was great. I went to see Joey Matthews. I walked around with him for a while, meeting everyone on Smack down. There’s a lot of cool guys there. Anyway, I told Joey that I wanted to meet the heavyweight champion and he took me straight to Batista’s locker room. He introduced us and then went out for his match. I hung out with Dave the rest of the night, then we went to dinner. He took me back to his hotel room, and ordered up dessert. When it got there, I could have just died. He started feeding me strawberries and whipped cream, and we drank some Champaign. I had only had one glass, when I felt his hand on my thigh. Before I knew what was going on, we were kissing. Then one thing led to another, and well, lets just say, that I unleashed the beast.”
“Wow sounds like you had one hell of a time.” Chase said, digging a piece of paper out of his bag. “You ready for your next assignment?”
“Only if you are.” Andy said, handing Chase a piece of paper. “Trust me, this is one extreme assignment.”
Chase didn’t even look at the paper as he handed Andy his. “You just do me a favor okay? Get a picture of that five second pose for me.” Chase said, as he walked out of the locker room.
TWO WEEKS LATER
Chase was practically bouncing up and down, waiting for Andy to get to the hotel. When Andy walked in he didn’t even have time to put his stuff down and Chase was talking his ear off. “What the hell took you so long? It doesn’t matter sit down.” Chase said, dragging Andy to a chair, and sitting him down. “That was the best time I’ve had. He was amazing. I’ve never had someone treat me like that before. He was like some kind of animal. It was just raw lust. He was all over me. And after it was all over, he took such time and care to clean me up, and make sure that I was okay. Matt Hardy has got to be the sweetest guy that I’ve ever.....”
“I’m glad you had such a good time, Chase.” Andy said, cutting his friend off. He didn’t look to happy.
“Didn’t you have fun?” Chase said, finally noticing the look on Andy’s face.
“Well if you could say that being called Matt for about twelve hours is having fun, then I had a ball.” Andy said, pouting. “My hair reminded him of Matt, my nose reminded him of Matt, my eyes reminded him of Matt. Hell, I’ve even changed cologne’s because I never knew that Matt Hardy and I wore the same kind. When we were in bed, he even called me Matt. It totally sucked of Mattitude. Adam Copeland sure got me back for the Kip thing.”
“I’m sorry Andy, I really wanted you to have a good time.” Chase said, sitting down on Andy’s lap, and wrapping his arms around his neck. “If it makes you feel any better, Matt didn’t say anything about Copeland. So it looks like he’s gonna be lonely for a long time.”
Andy smiled and wrapped his arms around Chase. “Thanks. Hey do you want you’re name for next week?”
“Sure, let me get yours.” Chase said, taking the paper from Andy and going to get his pick. He came back and settled in Andy’s lap again. “Let’s open them together.”
The two men opened their papers and sat there in stunned silence. After looking over the papers for several minutes to make sure they weren’t seeing things, they looked at each other. Paper fluttered to the floor as their lips met in a tender kiss, that quickly escalated to something passion driven. Chase maneuvered himself so he was straddling Andy’s waist. “How long have you felt this way?” Andy said when the kiss was broken.
Chase threaded his fingers through Andy’s baby soft hair. “About the last year.” Chase said, leaning in for another heated kiss. “I just didn’t think that you felt the same way.”
Andy looked into Chase’s eyes, and couldn’t believe that he’d waited this long to tell Chase how he felt. “I’ve loved you since you were teaming with Cassidy.” Andy said, a tear pooling in his eye. “I just thought that you were out of my league.”
“Are you kidding?” Chase said, taken aback. “I thought you were out of my league.”
The only other words that were said that night were professions of love and togetherness. They both found that night, that their bodies connected on some spiritual level that neither had experienced before. As they drifted off to sleep, they both silently thanked God for bringing the other into their lives, and they both gave some thanks that they had this crazy idea to hook each other up with, what they thought, were the perfect men. Guess they both found out that you don’t get much more perfect than natural.
