Summary: Scott returns once again, but this time he does not intend to “play” with Jesse. He wants to inform him.
“It’s unlikely that he’ll come back, Jesse” Billy was trying to convince Jesse to get some rest. He had been awake all night after Scott had been there the night before, attacking them again!
Jesse reached out for Billy, silently begging him to hug him and he came into his arms willingly. “Don’t worry, babe. It’ll be ok. I promise you!” Billy soothingly stroked his back, his arms holding the younger man tightly to his own body.
“Mr. Gunn?” a female voice broke them out of their peaceful embrace.
Billy carefully let go of Jesse, turning around to face the source of the voice. It was a nurse. “Mr. Gunn, it’s time for Mr. James to get some rest.”
Billy smiled to the nurse, knowing that he really needed to sleep. Jesse shook his head, his eyes huge with fear. “Shhh… it’s ok. Nothing will happen to you! You need sleep.”
“No, I don’t…” Jesse yawned causing Billy to grin. “You’re obviously exhausted. Go sleep, baby” Billy gently kissed his forehead. Jesse smiled. “Ok, if you insist…”
“Good pup. I love you” Billy kissed his lips quickly before going to the nurse, allowing her to lead him back to his own room. Leaning back on the bed, Jesse sighed deeply before finally being able to close his eyes.
Only few minutes later Jesse’s breath evened out and he fell asleep.

A faint noise in the room made Jesse shift in his sleep. His dreams changed suddenly. Changed into the nightmare he had been dreaming recently. The dream about Scott hurting him. Killing him.
In his dream Scott’s fingertips touched his cheekbone. It felt almost real! Nothing like a normal dream! He heard Scott speak to him in his dream. “Poor Jesse.” That sounded even more real! Jesse’s eyes snapped open and he was staring directly at Scott.
The fear rose in Jesse’s body and he instantly crawled back in the bed until his back was pressed against the cold tiled wall. “Don’t worry, Jesse. I’m not here to hurt you this time…” Scott smiled almost lovingly. It scared Jesse even more. “Get the fuck away from me!” he spat at Scott.
“Please Jesse… Don’t be ridiculous.” He laughed lightly, sending shivers down Jesse’s spine. “I have something to tell you. Something you might find interesting.”
Jesse shook his head, “I don’t believe you. You’re sick!”
Scott sighed. “Oh well, since you are not interested in listening to what I have to say then I guess it doesn’t matter. That’s good for Billy…” he turned around, a faint wicked grin on his lips. He heard the mattress shift. “Wait… What about Billy?”
The smile on his lips widened. “I knew you’d listen… That’s why I like you. You’re so smart”
“Bullshit! Just tell me!” Scott turned around, approaching Jesse with slow steps causing Jesse to once again back away from him.
“Do you think I would be able to do all these horrible things to you all by myself? Do you think I just happen to know where you are all the time? I know everything about you! Haven’t you ever wondered HOW I am able to know that about you?” Scott reached out to touch Jesse’s cheek. Jesse tensed for a second but allowed it to happen.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about…”
Scott smiled, withdrawing his fingers. “I’m not alone. Someone is helping me… Guess who?” Jesse stared at Scott for a brief moment, his thoughts swirling around inside his head. Something snapped inside his brain when Scott said one single word. “Baby…”
Billy…? No, it couldn’t be true! Jesse shook his head, his body beginning to feel numb. “Yeah, you’re right. It’s Billy…” he laughed lightly. “No… no, you’re lying!” tears began to fill his eyes as realization finally dawned upon him. It all made sense now. Billy wasn’t home that day it all started. Billy found him. Billy was in the parking basement the second time he was assaulted. Billy was at the hospital yesterday… And where was Billy now?
“See you soon…” Scott said sweetly before heading towards the door and left him in complete silence.
Jesse’s entire world collapsed around him. Everything fell apart. Tears moistened his pale cheeks. Billy. The one person he thought he could trust. The one person he loved had betrayed him. Everything had been a lie. But why?
Jesse instantly rose from the bed, at first feeling dizzy. He ignored the dizziness, walking towards the closet where his clothes were. He needed to get dressed. He had to get away from there! He angrily wiped his eyes as he began getting dressed.
As soon as he was done, he went for the door and into the hallway.
He saw Billy there. Standing there with Hunter. Talking. Looking ever so beautiful. In a matter of minutes the greatest love of his life had become his greatest enemy!
Billy turned his head slightly and realized Jesse was there, looking at him. He smiled. “Jesse, baby, are you sure you’re ready to get out of bed?” he sounded concerned but Jesse was sure it was all just an act. Jesse began walking, deciding that he should just ignore Billy now. He was so full of anger he would beat him up if he just tried to talk to Billy.
Jesse passed by Billy, not even laying his eyes on him. Billy narrowed his eyes in confusion and started after Jesse. “Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked calmly, putting his hand on Jesse shoulder.
“Don’t touch me!” Jesse exclaimed, pushing Billy away from him. His eyes were full of rage, his fist clenching and unclenching. “Jesse…?” Billy tried again, reached out for Jesse.
Jesse didn’t allow him to touch him again however. Within a split second and before Jesse was able to stop himself, his fist connected with Billy’s jaw, sending him stumbling a few steps backwards as he tried not to lose the balance.
“Shit…” Billy rubbed his jaw, staring at Jesse in complete shock. Why did he do that? What was wrong? “You fucking stay away from me!” Jesse spat harshly, his eyes filled with angry tears before he turned away to walk away.
“Jesse! What is wrong with you!?” Billy yelled after him. He had to know why Jesse was acting like this so he ran after him.
“Jesse, wait!” Billy grabbed Jesse’s arm to keep him from leaving and he instantly felt himself being pushed away again, this time nearly knocking him down on the floor. “Don’t touch me or talk to me anymore!” Billy could feel tears beginning to prick behind his eyes. “Please-“ he was cut off when Jesse suddenly tackled him to the ground.
Tears were streaming down Jesse’s face as he punched Billy, his knuckles connecting hard against his cheekbone. Billy tried to kick Jesse off him, feeling a stinging pain in his thigh. When he finally managed to push Jesse off him, he tried to get up and as soon as he was back on his feet Jesse pushed him into the wall.
The pain in Billy’s thigh increased and when he sensed Jesse was about to punch him again, he grabbed his wrists, managing to spin him around and then violently pushed him against the wall, the back of Jesse’s head hitting hard against the wall.
In the same moment, Hunter pulled Billy away from Jesse.
“What the hell are you two idiots doing?!” Hunter asked puzzled as several nurses and doctors came running down the hallway towards them.
Billy gripped his thigh, blood soaking through his pants. The stitches had broken up and he was now bleeding badly. “Shit… Jesse!” Billy ignored the pain in his leg when he realized that Jesse had slumped down on the floor, unconscious. He didn’t mean to have pushed him that hard!
He wanted to hold Jesse, but several doctors held him back, telling him to leave Jesse alone. Billy had begun crying, feeling guilty for hurting Jesse.
“We need to stitch you again…” Billy faintly heard the nurse. She took his arm and he was being led away, never taking his eyes away from Jesse’s limp form as he was lying there on the floor, doctors surrounding him.
“Holy shit…” Hunter ran his fingers through his hair. What the hell was going on here? He considered for a moment to go ask Billy, but he decided that it might not be the smartest idea. He had to wait until Jesse was conscious again.
