Summary: Jesse is ready to leave the hospital, but will he even make it out of the hospital?

Sitting on the bed, Jesse glanced at his hand, watching his fingers play against one another. He was ready to go back home. All he was waiting for was the nurse to come and allow him to leave. She would be there soon. Seemed like hours ago she had left. She said it would only take a couple of minutes.

Jesse was beginning to get impatient. He just wanted to get away from this place and get home to relax a bit. He didn’t feel safe at the hospital. Not with Billy around…

“Mr. James?” Jesse looked up and saw the nurse standing in the doorway. Finally. He rose from the bed, expectantly. “You can go home now” she smiled. Jesse sighed, relieved. He had feared that he needed to stay for another night after the fight between him and Billy.

It was finally time to go home.

Jesse briefly thanked the nurse before he began gathering the few belongings he had. Clothes, mostly. He stuffed it all into a bag and was ready to go.

As Jesse started walking to the door, the nurse smiled at him. “As if there’s anything to smile at…” he thought to himself as he left the room and headed down the hallway.

He was finally getting out of this place. The memories from there were already too much for him. He was insecure of how to cope with them. Maybe getting home would help. Jesse doubted i, but he was hoping. Somehow… maybe he would be able to forget…

His head was bowed down, his eyes locked upon the floor tiles. Step by step he was nearing the exit. Fighting to keep tears back as all the thoughts about Billy swirled within his confused mind.

He came to the end of the hallway, looking to each side where the paths continued. Which one was the way out? Dammit! He had forgotten! He chose to go left. He walked for a few minutes. Everything looked the same. One long corridor, a single door once in a while. No exit. Did he turn the wrong way? Probably.

He was about to turn around and head in the opposite direction, when he heard a door quickly swing open behind him. Startled, he spun around. In the same moment he felt a hand cover his mouth. He struggled for a brief second, but it didn’t matter. He felt a sharp blow to his head, his vision blanking out and body collapsing…

…”Wake up… Wake up, you faggot!” someone kicked him lightly in his ribs. His eyes snapped open. Lifting his head, he realized his arms were cuffed behind his back, fastened to a pipe in the wall. He looked up from where he was seated, looking across the tiny room.

He should have known. Before him, Scott was standing. He looked amused as always. The sick fuck enjoyed hurting other human beings!

“Did you think I had forgotten you, babe?” Scott smirked, a wicked gleam in his eyes. Jesse loathed him. The way he acted superior and so arrogant. And that he kept trying to ruin his life. He had already taken away his best friend and now Billy as well.

Jesse turned his face away. He couldn’t stand to look into Scott’s eyes, knowing that he was amused. He got some sort of sick satisfaction from seeing Jesse in both emotionally and physical pain.

“I was hoping never to see your ugly face again…” Jesse knew it wouldn’t help fighting back, but he had lost everything, nothing more for him to lose.

Scott wasn’t surprised at Jesse’s sudden statement. He seemed as if he had been expecting it.

Kneeling down in front of Jesse, Scott leaned forward, reaching out to briefly touch Jesse’s face. He smiled, looking almost kind and loving. The look on his face quickly changed however. He tightly cupped his chin, still leaning closer until their noses nearly touched. “Why don’t you just give in? I’ve taken everything away from you! You’re all alone…”

Abruptly, Jesse spat, nearly hitting Scott in the eye. Jesse couldn’t help but smile as he watched Scott wipe the saliva away from his face.

His smile didn’t last very long though as Scott’s knuckles cracked against his jaw, busting his lower lip open. “I should have killed you the first time I had the chance!” Scott smirked. “Yeah, but you failed…” Jesse murmured, tasting his own blood on his tongue.

Raising an eyebrow, Scott just glanced thoughtfully at Jesse for a brief while. “Maybe I did fail, but it’s been fun while it lasted!” He smiled. “Oh by the way… Have you seen your loverboy recently?” he had a teasing look on his face when he saw the fury in Jesse’s eyes. “Just shut the fuck up…” Jesse hissed.

“You don’t like me talking about Billy boy, huh?” Scott playfully kicked his thigh, trying to further upset Jesse. He obviously succeeded as he noticed the tears forming in the corner of his eyes. “Poor Jesse. Everyone hates him…”

Jesse turned his head, not wanting Scott to see the stray tear trickling from his reddened eye. “Awww… come on Jess! Look on the bright side! No one will be sad once you’re dead, eh?”

Scott was right and he knew it. Jesse was all alone. He had lost and Scott had won. Nothing mattered anymore. He might as well be dead. Everything he cared about had died, leaving him abandoned. It was over.

Shutting his eyes, Jesse desperately hoped that Scott would just kill him now instead of keep tormenting him. But it didn’t happen. Slowly, he reopened his eyes, his glance locked upon Scott’s face. “Why don’t you just fucking kill me now?” tears of anger streamed down his cheeks as he awaited Scott’s decision.

He shook his head, “No, I’m not gonna kill you yet… I still wanna play a bit” he winked. “But don’t worry, I will kill you later today…” as he said that he pulled a gun out of his pocket. Jesse gazed at the shiny metal, wishing for a bullet to end his misery.

In that very same moment, Jesse heard the door slowly open. “Ahhh… You’ve come to play with me!”

Jesse raised his gaze and saw Billy entering the door. Billy! That fucking bastard!

His thoughts were wiped clean though, his eyes widening in complete shock as he realized Billy was being shoved in by someone else! But who?

Hunter!

Dear God! They had been playing with his mind all along! Billy wasn’t against him. He never was! He should have known. How could he have thought that about Billy anyway? The person he loved the most! He should have believed him.

Hunter. He thought he could trust him. Jesse felt the hate rise up in him, wanting to beat the shit out of Hunter. He pulled at his handcuffs. “Don’t try anything or say goodbye to your loverboy!” Scott threatened, pointing the gun at Billy. Jesse managed to calm himself down, not wanting to lose Billy again.

Billy meant too much for him. He was all he had left now. Still he couldn’t help but loathe both Scott and Hunter. Those sick bastards!

“You look so surprised, Jess” Hunter leered as he pushed Billy towards Scott. Scott laughed, approaching Hunter to roughly capture his lips in a harsh kiss. At that moment both Jesse and Billy realized that Scott and Hunter were lovers! “I gotta go get some toys…” Scott panted between kisses.

Scott left the room quickly, slamming the door behind him. Jesse looked at Billy, seeing the look of defeat on his face. He then closed his eyes, waiting for everything to end…
